good variety - I really like this range of books (there are a few in the series of mammoth books for comic fantasy)As it s a short story book compromised of a number of different authors it s a great platform from which to delve into a particular authors work, for me I ve started to try and get more of Esther Freisner s work which I find particularly funny. Some stories I didn t enjoy as much as others but I think it s different personal tastes that would effect this!.All in all a great book. If like me you sometimes need to read a few pages of a book before going to bed - what could be better than a short story? - It s also a perfect (and fun) read for the bus/train!
A good book for fans of both humor and fantasy - I really enjoyed this book. It s got great stories inside, good fantasy with enough humor to make you grin. It s hard to find good sci-fi or fantasy humor, and this collection puts many good stories all together for your enjoyment. I highly recommend it.
